Dr. Steven R. Gunberg is a board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist. He graduated from Kansas City University Medicine and Biosciences; College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Following medical school, Dr. Gunberg completed his internship at the Chicago Osteopathic School of Medicine in Illinois and subsequently completed residency programs at Doctors Hospital and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Sciences, an affiliate of UCLA. While in residency, Dr. Gunberg was awarded Resident of the Year and was Chief Resident. Dr. Gunberg continued his studies at University of California San Francisco where he completed a Fellowship in MRI Body Imaging, CT and Ultrasound.  Dr. Gunberg is dual fellowship trained in Body Imaging and Musculoskeletal Imaging.

Dr. Gunberg joined HALO Diagnostics (formerly Desert Medical Imaging) in September 2017 and is currently the Director of Body and Cardiac Imaging.  He specializes in cardiac imaging and is currently a member of the Society of Cardiovascular CT.  Previously, he served as the Clinical Assistant Professor at the University with Colorado Health Science Center where he served for seventeen years.  While on staff at National Jewish Health/Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital Dr. Gunberg served as Department Chair for thirteen years where he was involved with strategic planning for the hospital and was a Board Member of Diversified Radiology of Colorado.
